INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

BWS offers convenient, confidential, HIPAA-compliant voice or video sessions that fit into your life and support you on your terms.

In 50 to 55-minute, one-on-one sessions, we assess and work with you to create a care plan and goals tailored to your unique needs.

We provide space, support, education, and guidance to help you navigate your mental and behavioral health, thrive in your roles, and feel empowered on your journey to becoming well.

We use a combination of tools to help us support you on your journey, such as:

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)/CBT

  • Narrative Therapy

GROUP THERAPY

BSW offers a safe and supportive group environment where you can connect with others who share similar experiences and challenges related to motherhood, parenthood, womanhood, mental health, and wellness.

Group topics can include, but are not limited to:

  • Matrescent Sista™ Support Groups

  • Mothering/Parenting Support

  • Postpartum Support

  • Navigating Maternal Mental Health Challenges/Disorders

  • Mother-Infant Attachment Groups

  • Working Mothers Support

RATE & FEE INFORMATION

Becoming Wellness Services, PLLC is dedicated to providing care that is flexible, convenient, and tailored to your unique needs. We are now happy to accept insurance for clients whose plans we cover. If we do not accept your insurance, or if you prefer to pay privately, we continue to offer sliding-scale rates with limited availability each year, along with insurance referrals and complementary resources.

[Currently accepting the following plans: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (HMO & PPO), Cigna, Cigna (EAP), Optum, Optum (EAP), Humana, Humana (Medicare)].

For those seeking reimbursement from their insurance provider, we are also able to provide a super bill for you to submit.

If you have any questions about insurance coverage or reimbursement, please feel free to reach out to us or your insurance company.

Individual sessions are $90/hour for private paying clients.

Group session costs, topics discussed, length, and location vary.

Are you using insurance or EAP benefits? Fees are based on coverage reimbursement.

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, you are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges for services. This applies to those who are not using insurance or are not enrolled in a plan, and this information can be provided upon request or at the time of scheduling.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

By law, health care providers are required to give an estimate of the total cost of medical services to patients who are not using insurance.

  • You have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate for any non-emergency service, which includes related costs such as medical tests, prescriptions, and equipment.

  • Your provider will give you this estimate at least 1 business day before your appointment.

  • You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services.

  • If your final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you have the option to dispute the bill.

  • Please save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
